The Pros and Cons of Mobile Phones

The mobile phone is mainly an accessory and is a typical part of our everyday wear. And because of the high demands and our fast-changing world, new mobile phone models are being produced on almost a daily basis. However, plenty of speculations about the advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phones have come about. So, here are some of them:

1.Fast Communication. The very obvious advantage of using these phones is that it provides convenient and fast communication. You can be out in another country while being able to contact your family in another area. You can also send text messages and even an e-mail through the use of your mobile phone. So, because of these, the old-fashioned snail mails have almost come to total extinction.

2. Fun Games. When you are waiting for somebody and you become so bored, you could play the games on it. Minutes or even hours may pass without you getting bored waiting for your friends.

3. Music. Most of these phones provide an MP3 or a radio function. Whether you are traveling or you just simply want to relax, you do not have to bring your portable CD player and your vast CD collection anymore because a lot of songs could be stored into your mobile phone's music library. You can also listen to live news and songs on the radio on it.

4. Pictures and Video. You would be able take pictures and videos through your mobile anytime, anywhere. You will not have to bring your digital camera, which is able to record and capture important moments at high quality, because such features are already included in your phone.

5. Calendar. Need to schedule meetings and appointments but your personal organizer is quite bulky? Worry no more, because the calendar feature in most mobile phones allows you to see the dates and store data, as well. This can serve as your mini personal organizer.

6. Alarm Clock. If you are traveling, this mobile phone feature comes in very importantly. You will not have to buy a separate alarm clock to wake you up in the morning.

7. Distraction. This is a disadvantage of the mobile phone that you should be aware of. If you are driving or in an important meeting, you should avoid using your mobile, so as not to distract your focus.

8. Prank calls and messages. Because SIM cards are disposable, it is quite difficult to trace those people who use their mobiles to fool people.

There are still plenty of advantages and disadvantages to using the mobile phone; however, the above mentioned are the most obvious. To avoid any trouble regarding your mobile, you should always remember to use your gadget properly.
